Welcome to your summer martial arts getaway. Take some time to explore the deeper aspects of practicing martial arts by making connections with adjacent practices.

We will enhance our calligraphy practice with brush and ink technique.

We will expand our time meditating beyond what we can do in class.

We will learn ancient combat techniques from China and Japan, and explore how they interact with our Haidong Gumdo techniques.

All this in the historic town of Northfield along the Cannon River, and on the Carleton College campus and arboretum grounds.

Stay at one of our many hotels, commute if you live nearby, or camp out at the Master’s house.
