Overcoming Dissatisfaction
Do you ever get dissatisfied with your progress?
You hit a plateaus and don’t seem to be going anywhere. Everyone around you seems to be doing amazing things you’d like to be doing, too, but you’re not.
Or maybe you’re reaching your goals, but they never feel high enough when you compare to other people’s achievements, so you keep pushing them higher and higher.
Some dissatisfaction is good. It pushes us to keep growing. To have a bigger impact.
But sometimes dissatisfaction overwhelms us. We can’t enjoy all that we’ve achieved, because we see so much more to do. We find success, but we’re not happy.
How do you get out of the funk?
Focus on gratitude.
Look at your past successes. Express thankfulness for everything you have accomplished. Past you would be amazed with where current you is now.
How far have you come in the last 5 years? Last 10 years? 20 years?
Gratitude is a powerful tool. Wield it daily. Use it to cut through the dissatisfaction and move confidently ahead.
